Hi, I'm Sam Horsley from Brighton (UK). I am a passionate and creative Bassist and co-writer with years of live performance and studio experience.
 

I’m currently enjoying success playing with James Marriott. We're a band on the rise, and we've had some incredible experiences since forming in late 2022. 2023 saw a string of standout moments including performing at The Royal Albert Hall for the Teenage Cancer Trust, headlining for BBC Introducing, completing our first sell-out UK tour Bitter Tongues, and playing our first festival season,  culminating in headlining the Leeds Festival and opening the Main Stage East at Reading Festival. We also had the pleasure of a sell-out Australian tour.
 

Our debut album, Are We There Yet?, was released in November 2023 and debuted at #17 in the Official UK Album Chart, #2 in the Official UK Independent Album Chart, and #1 in the Official UK Download Chart.
 

2024 was another milestone year with a sell-out tour across England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, New Zealand, and Australia. Highlights included our full Isle of Wight Festival set being broadcast in stunning 4K on Sky Arts, and performing to our largest audience to date at the Leeds Festival.
 

2025 proved to be even more thrilling with the release of our second album Don't Tell The Dog, which went straight to Number One in the Official UK Album Charts. The album’s success earned us a Bronze Disc Award, and we were honoured to be named Breakout Artist of the Year. We also made our debut at Download Festival, where our performance was featured and broadcast by the BBC, marking another huge moment in our journey. The year was packed with festival appearances, followed by our second North American tour, a UK run, and a European tour to close out the year.
 

Now in 2026, we’re keeping the momentum going. We’ve been working hard on our next album, pushing ourselves creatively and exploring new sounds. This summer is shaping up to be another busy one, with a festival calendar packed from June through September. We’re also preparing for our long-awaited return to Australia after the tour was delayed, something we’re incredibly excited to finally bring to fans over there.
 

I'm so proud of what we've achieved so far, and I can't wait to see what the future holds. We're a band with a lot of passion, and we're always looking to push ourselves to the next level. We hope you'll join us on our journey.
